Halloween Tales of Horror: A Ghost Story Evening at Treadwells
30th October (Thursday) 7.15 for 7.30 pm start
Halloween is the night the ghosts are out and the veil between the worlds is thin. In the basement of Treadwell's old and haunted building, in the luminous darkness of candle-light, two ghost stories will be told/performed. Your master of the macabre is Mike David, back for this evening by popular demand. The two tales for the evening are Robert Louis Stevenson's 'Markheim', a spooky, Dostoyevskian tale of murder and dopplegangers; and 'The Squaw' by Bram Stoker, a gruesome little tale of feline murder and bloodsoaked revenge. A soiree will follow the chilling readings. Join us!
Mike's dramatic readings have become much-favoured events at Treadwell's; he is an actor, writer and lover of things mystical, with over 30 years in the theatre. His evenings are riveting. A soiree will follow the chilling readings. Join us!
